Better late than never..The fabrics from China finally arrived..They are for a gracious lady who stays in Puncak Setiawangsa.

3 layer curtain.This is going to keep me busy for the whole of March..Alhamdullilah syukur....

I am also preparing myself for a short course on application of Embird software for my embroidery machine..For starters i made a sweet cozy for my Big Brother 1500d..The first class starts on 1st March,Saturday..You can read all about it here..

I might be preoccupied for couple of days and updates will be pretty slow too.Please bear with me...Thank you for dropping by...

I am back after a long break...

Feeling rejuvenated and blessed..Thank you Allah for making my short stay a memorable one and may i have the opportunity to visit your holy home every year.Amiin..

While i was away,one of my staff went for maternity leave and the other was taken ill and was away from work for almost a week..Aww!therefore daughter was left alone but she was kept busy most of the time minding her online business.You can visit her here.

Nevertheless,a set of baby stuffs were done just before my staff went for her medical leave.So heres a show off......

Its a moses basket set ,2 baby quilt and also a matress set..Oh yes...its going to be a baby girl for Farah Dura.All fabric were self pick by Farah for her first born.Now i only need to do the diaper bag and then is ready for collection.

I just brought in some curtain job this morning.Will update soon.Alhamdullilah business is picking up...and i am trying to get into the work momentum..Thank you Allah.I know this year is going to be full of baraqah..

2013...One full year of baraqah....

Its a baby marathon week when........

 you have 2 sets of  baby cot to dress up!Oh yes !no lying..See for yourself..

Its a 2 layer frilled skirt and a quilted bed pad for the inner..Oh yes lots of strings to tie all round the cot.

This set is for Puan Hajjah Khairiyah for the aqiqah ceremony of her 5th grandchild..Its for a wooden cot.I had to work strictly on her measurements ,and right now its hanging loosely on my own baby cot at my work place.The size doesn't fit though.Lets hope she sents me a photo to share with you gals here..

And this is for Puan Hajjah Yasmeen who is waiting excitedly for her first grandchild in January 2014..The set consists of : bumper pad,comforter,2 layers frill bed skirt ,2 bolsters,1 pillow cover and one mattress cover..

This set looks equally great in a rattan baby carrier which i bought a couple of weeks ago :

All 3 babies for aqiqah.. One cot.to fit all 3..

This baby cot was brought into my work station to  be decorated in any way i want.I was free to choose the fabric,,,no theme was given but it will accomodate 2 baby girls and a baby boy who also happens to be my grandson...

Masyallah,3 adorable babies who are cousins to each other....May they grow healthy,happy and become khalifahs of Allah.

Today is Wednesday,18.12.13.....55 blissfull years

Thank you Allah...i am still here,healthy and in the pink of health..May Allah grant me kushoo and constant reminders of my position in this world and of all His incredible blessings, ,Ameen...

Its the eleventh day,on the twelfth month of the year twenty thirteen...11.12.13..

So today will definitely need a short blabbering  for the auspicious date.Nothing sewing related.I am giving that a rest...hihi...Today i spent time at Jabatan Agama Islam opposite Masjid Wilayah to endorse a copy of my marriage certificate .This is a requirement By the Embassy Of Saudi Arabia for application of visa to Mecca to enable me and dear hub to do our umrah next year.

Next we tried to do our innoculation for meningitis..Unfortunately the few clinics that we visited have ran out of the vaccine.So we might have to find another day for this jab...

Thats all i did today,haha..nothing fancy ,all the waiting and running around exhausted me at one pm..how was your 11.12.13 day?

Tutorial for a baby/toddler bolster..

I am happy to say that i have finally completed a tutorial for this little bolster to share with fellow friends.Special features are a piping and a zipper closure.

You will need these fabrics:

You can  start affixing the zip :                                                                 

Next,prepare the cording/piping .

You can now attach borders on both sides.

You now need to prepare the small cirle fabrics to attach on both end sides of the boster..In my case i have used the stripe blue fabric.

The fabric circle measures 4.5 inch diameter.You need to draw an inner circle of 2.5 inch diameter.Then attach
 the border at this marked  line,like the pic below..

Voila!....you have successfully completed the baby bolster..
