All in simple french pleat as the appartment is for rental...The owner is a senior malaysian citizen and the tenant pulak an expatriat indian muslim..Rental of appartment is a whopping RM3000pm...partly furnished though..

While the cat was away,the mice had a lot to chew..

This is the second week i have been away from my work station.Since then work was delegated to my staffs.But i make it a point to drop by for an hour at 9am in the morning and at 4pm in the evening till closing time at 6pm..thats 2 solid hours..So for that short time i could only inspect all jobs done,prepare the bills and wrap them up for customers collection . I am quite fortunate to have such reliable staffs although they are quite new..Lets see some work done...

All are cusions of varying sizes..A good practise for newly seamstress..

Aaron is 15 days old today..doesn't he look adorable....shaved clean by his daddy...my kojak grandson..

I now have a life model for my cradle...

Meet Muhammad Aaron Sufian....my eldest grandson...13 days old born on 090312 at 8.05am weighing 3.19kg..he shares the same birth date as my youngest son...slightly jaundice..

Having a nap with a little bit of sunshine creeping through...

He has been keeping me away from my sewing machine...but its worth it..he is an angel...Just looking at him sleeping is so comforting..


So.... not much sewing to blog about as i have not been to my work base for quite sometime..wonder whats cooking......

The old tired duvet has been transformed...

So the cover is ready.We used the insert as batting.This is how the ready quilt look.If you want to know how to miter the corners there is a tutorial here, here and here

More baby basket in white...

This baby basket is for Fadzellah,Malacca. .....already sent this afternoon...

There is a velcro on both sides at the handles for easy removal for washing and cleaning purposes.

Two pillow cover for baby size pillows

Hopethe onwner is happy and reaches the destination safely on time for the aqiqah ceremony...

In the mean time two old and tired duvet waiting for a makeover...lalalalala.

The top is for a single bed while the one beneath is a queen size duvet

The materials chosen....

For the single bed duvet..white dots

Red dots for the queen size duvet.

More fabrics for queen size bed skirting..

So ape pulak yang da siap ehh...banyak sesangat yang da siap..tak sempat nak ambil gambor sudah disambor customer..

2 sets queen bed skirt.

These cusions are for a love seater with 2 pieces for back rest and 2 for the seats.I am showing a set of each.

Baby cot set..definitely for a baby boy

8 pieces cusion cover of size 21 inch x 11 inch..The 7 inch border in the middle are remnants from 8 chair seat covers ..

More seat covers done

All 8 seats are done,but i only manage to upload photo of the chair (6 pieces)without arm rest..the ones with arm rest (2 pieces)were ready and taken by customer much earlier..

Even with the tutorial i had a hard time making this hole .
